"Kelsie was such a special little girl. She loved everyone, other animals and children . She loved to sit on Ron’s shoulder we called her our bird dog . All we had to do was put music on and she would get so excited to dance with her daddy. She did not like a bath but thoroughly enjoyed her showers with daddy."
STEP 1
I had little reference pictures to use but I tried to capture her excitable nature, perking up when she sees and hears her favorite people.
STEP 2
Details are key. A band of black fur ran down her back that tucked under her belly.
STEP 3
Although this is based on 1 dog, it feels like painting 5! The background was done in the colors of her fur.
